Manchester City Windows 7 Theme with theme song

Manchester City Windows 7 Theme with theme song is dedicated to the premier English football club Manchester City. We had created several football club themes on the request of fans including English ones such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal as well as one for the complete Barclays English Premier League. However, we had left one top English football club which has been doing exceedingly well in recent years. The club we are referring to is the Manchester City F.C. which has emerged as one of the top three clubs in English football in the last two years or so. Manchester City Football Club was founded in 1880 and is based in the same city of Manchester as rivals Manchester United. The club was once a potent force in English football and it’s most successful period was in the late 1960s and early 1970s when they won the League Championship, FA Cup, League Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup under the management team of Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison. However, they went into a decline after that and remained low key for the next few decades. But the major turnaround came when the club was purchased by Abu Dhabi United Group in August 2008. The takeover was immediately followed by a flurry of bids for high profile players; the club broke the British transfer record by signing Brazilian international Robinho from Real Madrid for £32.5 million. During the summer of 2009, the club took transfer spending to an unprecedented level, with an outlay of over £100 million on players Gareth Barry, Roque Santa Cruz, Kolo Touré, Emmanuel Adebayor, Carlos Tévez and Joleon Lescott. The manager was also changed in December 2009 with Roberto Mancini taking over the responsibility. Prior to the start of the 2010–11 season, Man City completed the transfers of Jérôme Boateng, Yaya Touré, David Silva, Aleksandar Kolarov and Mario Balotelli. James Milner signed during the first week of the season. Edin Džeko joined the club during the January 2011 transfer window. On 16 April 2011, City reached the 2011 FA Cup Final, their first major final in over thirty years, defeating derby rivals Manchester United in the semi-final to set up a meeting with Stoke City. They won the final 1–0, securing their fifth FA Cup (and first since 1969) and their first major trophy since winning the 1976 League Cup. On the last day of the 2010–11 season, City passed Arsenal for third place in the Premier League, thereby securing qualification directly into the Champions League group stage. For the 2011–12 season, City made a number of high profile signings, including Gaël Clichy, Stefan Savić, Sergio Agüero, Samir Nasri and Owen Hargreaves. City started the season well, and were five points clear at the top of the Premier League after a 6–1 victory over Manchester United in October. However, they are in the second position as of now in the Barclays Champions League as of now and only three points behind Manchester United. Both Manchester United and Manchester City are far ahead of the rest of the teams as of now in the points tally in the ongoing English Premier League. Manchester City was at 10th position in 2008-2009 English Premier League and they improved to 5th position the following year. In 2010-2011, they finished 3rd in the Premier League while they are second as of now in this year’s points table. So, the new signups have definitely resulted in positive results for the club. The club’s home ground is the City of Manchester Stadium (also known as Etihad Stadium for sponsorship reasons). The club captain is Vincent Kompany while vice-captain is Micah Richards as of now. The other star players of Manchester City include Sergio Agüero, Samir Nasri, Edin Džeko, Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tévez, David Silva, Yaya Touré and English goalkeeper Joe Hart. This theme contains HQ backgrounds of most of the Manchester City star players as well as of the official logo and the Etihad Stadium. All the backgrounds are of 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. We have also included a small portion of the Manchester City theme song “blue moon” as the Windows logon sound and Windows change theme sound to give a feel of the team. Hope you all like this theme and wish both Manchester City and Manchester United and their fans success in the upcoming matches. Manchester City Windows 7 Theme with theme song
