Real Madrid Windows 7 Theme with theme song is dedicated to the Spanish football club “Real Madrid Club de Fútbol” which is popularly known around the world as Real Madrid. It has been created on a lot of requests including those of HIGUAIN, C.R., goabdou, Azhar, Raul and venice. The football club is based in the city of Madrid in Spain. It was founded in the year 1902 by two Catalan brothers, Juan Padrós and Carlos Padrós. The Real Madrid crest also features a crown. Both the crown as well as the word “Real” (Spanish term for “royal”) in the name of the club was given by King Alfonso XIII in 1920. Real Madrid is also one of only three Spanish clubs (which also includes arch rival FC Barcelona) which have never been relegated from La Liga which is the top Spanish football league. The club has won a record 31 La Liga titles, 8 Copas del Rey, 8 Spanish Super Cups, 1 Copa Eva Duarte and 1 Copa de la Liga in the domestic circuit. In international tournaments, it has won a record 9 European Cup/UEFA Champions League titles, 2 UEFA Cups, 1 UEFA Super Cup and 3 Intercontinental Cups.
The current star players of the club include Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Brazilian midfielder Kaká and Goalkeeper cum captain Iker Casillas. Previous star players included legends such as Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzalez, Roberto Carlos, Luis Figo, Ronaldo, David Beckham, Ferenc Puskás and Alfredo di Stefano. The players sport a white jersey in home matches and black jersey in away matches. Real Madrid’s home ground is the 85,454-seater Santiago Bernabéu football stadium in downtown Madrid, where it has played since 1947. Their most popular rivalry is with FC Barcelona and the matches between the two teams referred to as “el Clásico”. It is the world’s richest football club in terms of revenue with an annual turnover of €438.6 million. It is also the world’s second most richest football club in terms of value (after Manchester United) as per Forbes with net value of $1,451 million. This theme contains 10 high resolution backgrounds of Real Madrid and it’s star players. All the backgrounds are of 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and will fit very well into computer screens of nearly all sizes. We have also included the techno version of the Real Madrid theme song “Hala Madrid” as the Windows logon sound and change theme sounds.
